HR Officer

Are you ready to make a difference? Do you enjoy varied roles in human resources that combine administration, communication and organisation? Would you like to contribute to our clients’ success by supporting and optimising their HR processes? Then Weevo HR is the perfect place for you as an HR Officer!

1. Who are we?

Weevo HR is an HR consulting company dedicated to helping companies grow through expert, tailored HR advice.

We partner with companies to strengthen every part of their HR scope, combining hands-on execution with advice that moves the business forward. We believe that people make the difference in every organization. That’s why we put just as much thought into the careers of our consultants as we do into our client solutions. We match consultants with assignments where they can use their strengths, take on new challenges and continue building their expertise.

At Weevo, that comes with a culture built on flexibility, teamwork, performance, growth and dedication. A place where consultants take ownership of their careers, while we create the opportunities, support and challenges to help them move forward. And because consultancy is never a solo job, we stay connected along the way, with our clients, with our consultants and with each other.

2. What should you expect?

As an HR Officer via Weevo, you are the point of contact for the client’s employees, managers and colleagues for all matters relating to personnel administration, recruitment and day-to-day HR support.

You will generally work on-site at the client’s premises (or in accordance with their remote working policy) and will follow their working arrangements, timetable and internal rules.

Your responsibilities may vary significantly from project to project. Depending on the client’s needs, you will be involved in the following tasks:

  • HR management from A to Z: managing contracts, employment documents, insurance, new hires and departures, training and leave

  • Recruitment and selection: assisting with the publication of job vacancies, the shortlisting of CVs, the scheduling of interviews and the follow-up of candidates

  • HR processes and policies: involvement in the implementation, optimisation or digitalisation of HR processes (e.g. performance appraisals, absenteeism, training, wellbeing)

  • Advice and support: keeping employees and managers informed about internal procedures, employment legislation, leave entitlements and HR tools

  • Reporting and monitoring: maintaining up-to-date HR data, statistics and reports relating to staff

  • Project support: contributing to HR projects such as employer branding, onboarding, employee surveys or organisational development

In short: every project offers new challenges and new learning opportunities. Sometimes the focus is more on operational administration, sometimes on process optimisation or providing support within an HR team. What all your assignments have in common is that you ensure professional support, smooth HR administration and employee satisfaction.

3. Who are you?

  • Experience: you have at least 3 years’ experience in human resources administration, recruitment or general staff management

  • Language skills: You are fluent in Dutch or French and have a very good knowledge of the other national language as well as English

  • Social Law: You have a basic understanding of employment legislation and are willing to develop this further

  • Organisational skills: you have a structured approach, plan effectively and are able to set priorities

  • Communication: you build rapport easily with colleagues and managers. You communicate fluently, clearly and professionally

  • Accuracy and reliability: You work carefully, discreetly and with attention to detail

  • Consulting: You build strong relationships with clients and proactively offer them advice based on their HR needs. You will be independently responsible for advising clients and managing smaller to medium-sized projects

  • Values: Your attitude aligns with our core values:
Inspire passion, Make a difference, Challenge today, Build together, Keep Growing
